Vision Center of Hope is a non-profit human service agency.

ABOUT US

Vision Center of Hope is a community-rooted nonprofit in metro Atlanta. Our primary focus is youth and young adults—helping them stay engaged in school, build leadership, and access the supports that make life steadier. Around that core, we run targeted initiatives for marginalized neighbors—including nonpartisan civic leadership programs for women and intergenerational projects that strengthen community ties.

We connect mentoring and tutoring with life-skills coaching, mental-health resource navigation, and hands-on learning like our after-school Science & Health Lab for youth at risk. Our practice is trauma-informed, disability-inclusive, and neurodiversity-affirming. We co-design with students and families, use plain-language materials, and host accessible, welcoming events.

What we do

  • Youth Mentoring & Mental Health Navigation – weekly mentoring, goal-tracking, and warm handoffs to counseling and community care.

  • Science & Health Lab (After-School) – project-based learning that boosts curiosity, confidence, and career exposure.

  • Life Skills & Transition – study skills, executive function, social skills, job readiness, and “next-step” planning.

  • Civic Voice & Leadership – youth councils, service projects, and the nonpartisan Women in Public Service Forum.

  • Family & Community Partnerships – resource navigation, workshops, and school/neighbor collaborations.
